WE are excited to announce a collaboration with AcKnowledge Training- brought to you by Sarah Liptrott (BSc Social Work) and Rebecca Hollis (MA Social Work). Both Sarah and Rebecca have a wealth of experience delivering training to student social workers and trained professionals in areas such as; 

• Assessing eligibility under the Care Act 2014,
• Key responsibilities for local authorities and assessors under the Care Act 2014
• Mental Capacity Act 2005 and assessing capacity (including executive functioning),
• Care planning, risk assessing (including positive risk management, self-neglect and hoarding)
• Making Safeguarding Personal.  
• Reasonable Adjustments and Equality Act 2010
• Professional Curiosity for Social Care professionals
• Professional Curiosity for Healthcare assistance and social care staff

Training can be offered both face-to-face and virtually (via Teams or Zoom), half or full day. Contact AcKnowledge Learning directly to discuss your training needs. Cost starts at £100 per person.
